SUICIDE PREVENTION/INTERVENTION

Animals 4 Healing assesses individuals for suicidal ideation and intent and assists suicidal individuals with the following interventions: 

• Screening (CSSR) for all patients

• Segregation of suicidal patients from general population with specific protocol

• In-depth screening for those with suicidal ideation and intent

• Specialized clinicians

• Identification of triggers

• Safety Planning

• Ongoing therapeutic alliance

• Determination of specific modality to employ

• Follow up with check in

• Crisis Intervention and referral if needed
